October 2002 Photos

Fall is here!  It is getting cooler outside already!

I am excited for this month.  We are going to do a lot of fun things.  We are going to have a "game night" with friends, go to Lake Tobias, "Aunt Jenny" is coming to visit, play dates with my friend Derrick,  going to pick pumpkins, go on a hayride and trick or treating at HersheyPark in the Dark!

I promise to update the site more often too!  Oh, yea...I start swimming lessons this month too!  I'm a little nervous about that!

This is a big tanker at the world's largest ship
fueling station!

These ships can track 600 targets at once.  Wowsuhs!

That's a lot of ships!

Here's the nuclear
submarine docks.

Hey, that's the USS Cole!

If you cross the white floats, they shoot you without warning....good thing we stayed on this side of them!

I was very tired and slept almost the whole way.

These ships carry tanks and other heavy artillery
to shore.

You can see a sub in front
of this ship.

Sadly, there were no
aircraft carriers here today.

Here's the back end of the USS Wisconsin

I finally woke up and got my picture taken on the tour ship.

I liked to pretend I was "driving" this anchor.

Here we are on board the USS Wisconsin.

These are big guns.  They can fire a shell that weighs as much as a VW Beetle up to 23 miles!

That bullet is a lot
bigger than me!

I was running around trying to find the "poop" deck.

The Wisconsin served in every war from WWII to the Gulf War.
