November
2002 Journal
November!
The month for much colder weather, turning 16 months old, Aunt
Atina & Uncle Will's First Wedding Anniversary, Uncle JG's
and Pap-pap's birthdays, and the holiday of
Thanksgiving!
We have no major BIG events planned for this month other than traveling
to Grandparents Proper for the holiday!

I'm
16 Months Old!
November

, 2002 |
Another
month has gone by. I still only have 6 teeth, 4 on top, 2
on the bottom. I am using the same words as before but
more often.
I still love dancing to music and pointing out "grucks"
everywhere I go. Mommy and Daddy try to tell me all the
different names for them, but they are all just "grucks"
to me! I like to help wash my hair in the bathtub but I
still don't enjoy laying down to get it rinsed out. I have
to help close the baby gate on the way up the stairs.
Mommy thinks I've learned that from daycare. I like to
push the buttons on the TV and do my "What happened"
face and hand shrug. It gets tons of laughs...unless I do
it during The Simpson's! I like to watch them with
Daddy. Mommy thinks it's funny that I smile at Homer the
same way Daddy does!
Well, it's not too be that busy of a month...we needed a break
from our busy October. Don't worry there will be so much
going on December that you will hardly be able to keep up!

Swimming
Lessons Graduation

Daddy and me
went to my last swimming lesson. I was kind of glad about
that but sad too. I was just starting to like it! I
was taught (notice I didn't say learned) how to blow bubbles in
the water, lay on my back, kick my feet and reach out for a
toy! Mommy and Daddy said that I am going to take a little
break from it for awhile but go back in the new year. We
would miss too many of the classes because of holidays and
traveling to take the next session. Maybe I will be a
little older and like it better.

Happy
Thanksgiving!

This years
Thanksgiving was at Grandma and Grandpa Proper's house in Corry,
PA. Mommy, Daddy and me traveled up the night
before. We had a nice drive and no traffic. We did
leave pretty late though and got to Grandma's around
midnight. I was soo excited to be there that I wouldn't go
to bed.
I did
catch a little cold and my teeth were bothering me but the
didn't stop Thanksgiving from coming. Aunt Susan &
Uncle Allen Proper, Grammy & Pap-pap Wiles, Great Grandma
Young, Uncle JG, Grandma & Grandpa Proper, Mommy, Daddy and
me were there. We missed Auntie Atina, Uncle Will &
Nickoli McCoy this year. Uncle Will had just gotten a new
job and was unable to get the days off needed to make the
trip. We really missed them but understood why they
couldn't come. Since I wasn't feeling so good, I just
gobbled down some of Aunt Susan's famous "Tiki God
Jell-o". It was yummy and cool in my mouth.
Everyone else enjoyed eating turkey, stuffing, yams, bread,
artichokes and of course....pie! Grandma Proper makes
great pie! She made apple, pumpkin, lemon and coconut
cream!!
After
dinner, Great Grandma and me took a well needed nap and everyone
else visited and cleaned up dinner. We had a nice
time. I hope that I'm not sick next year...but I seem to
be going on some kind of streak, since I was sick last year
too!! Daddy said that I get that from my Mommy!!
I hope
that everyone had a nice holiday and didn't eat too much turkey!

Christmas
with Aunt Susan & Uncle Allen
November

Since Aunt
Susan and Uncle Allen spend Christmas with Aunt Susan's sister's
family, we celebrated with them tonight.
I am learning
really quickly about this "Christmas" thing. I
am getting pretty good at opening the packages too!
Speaking of packages, for the last 2 days Daddy had been
worrying about a "pink, Barbie" wrapped gift that was
for me. It was really big! Bigger than me!! I
took my time opening it, which made Daddy even more
nervous. I'm not sure why. I was being careful and
gave every piece I tore off to Grandpa so he could throw it
away. Finally, Daddy jumped in and helped me! I got
a Power Wheels Quad Runner!! It is sooooo cool!!
It's red and yellow and has 4 wheels. I was so anxious to
ride it that I jumped on it before Daddy and Grandpa could get
it put together!! After they were finished they showed me
how to make it go....IT GOES BY ITSELF!!! All I have to do
is push a button!!! Every time I do it makes me
laugh!
Thanks
Aunt Susan and Uncle Allen for the GREAT gift!!
I got
other cool stuff too, a couple sweat shirts with
"gucks" on them, a baseball glove for me to grow in to
and a noisy horn to attach to my new cool toy!!
