March
2006 Journal
March
entered like a lamb this year....a very active lamb
though. Seems the weather was all over the place.
We had rain, wind, snow, sleet, sunshine, cold and warmer
temperatures...all in just a few days!
Be sure to visit us lots this month. I'll be looking
sharp dressing up in my "Colors
of
the
Day" this
month.

Dr.
Seuss Birthday!
March
2, 2006 |
We've been
learning all about Dr. Seuss this week at school. Today was his
birthday and he would have been 102 years old! Miss
Carol has been reading us a lot of his books. My favorites are
The Cat in the Hat and Green Eggs and Ham. I
have both of these storybooks on my computer and have been playing
them all week. I think the mirror is soo funny, when you click
on it, it lifts up and says, "Mirror, mirror on table...I would
hide if I was able!". Mommy had to explain to me why that
is so funny. Miss Yolanda even made us "green eggs
& ham" for lunch one day...I didn't try them (shocked, I
know). Anyway, we made these really cool "Cat in the
Hat" hats and got our pictures taken in them. We watched The
Lorax movie and ate yummy popcorn too. We did a lot of
practice with rhyming words. Incase you didn't know...Dr.
Seuss was really good at that! It was a fun week.

Trent's
Birthday Party
March
4, 2006 |
Another friend
in my class turned 5! Mommy took me to the party this time and
I did not want her to leave, so she stayed. It was a bowling
party and I had a lot of fun with my friends. I did a really
good job too. I had 3 "scores" (spares) and one was
in the 10th frame! My total score was 98 points. You can
tell I've been bowling a few times....everyone laughed at my technique.
Mommy is pretty sure I am doing it with my eyes closed
sometimes! Anyway, we use bumpers so there is no way to get a
gutter ball on the first throw. Mommy said she didn't have
those things when she learned to bowl!
We ate yummy pizza, punch and cake at the party and all helped Trent
to open his presents. He got a lot of cool things. I got
him a SpongeBob puzzle. It was a fun party but Mommy said
Daddy can take me to the next one!

RED
Day!
March
6, 2006 |
The next 2 weeks
in preschool we are talking about colors.
Today was
RED
day. I wore red
pants, a red
shirt, red
socks and even my underwear had some red
on it...heehee. All of my friends wore
red
too! Miss Carol took a class picture and Mommy took one of me
when we got home. She forgot to do it in the morning, so I was
a little dirty from the playground.
We read the storybook, Clifford, The Big
Red
Dog.
We colored our own Cliffords.
I took my RED
monster truck to share for red
day. We had a red
snack...cupcakes with red
frosting!
|
BLUE
Day!
March
7, 2006 |
Today was BLUE
day!
Everything I wore was blue...my
shirt, pants, socks, underwear and even my hair! Yes, that's
right...Mommy painted blue
stripes in my hair. All my friends thought it was soo
cool!
We read the storybook, Blueberries
for Sal.
Then we painted blueberries
on a basket and had to count how many we "picked".
It was fun! I counted 84 in mine!
I took my blue
HotWheels car for sharing. We had yummy blue
marshmallow peeps for snack. They turned my mouth blue...so
I had to run over to Mommy's room and give her a blue
kiss! *SMACK*
|
PURPLE
Day!
March
8, 2006 |
Today was PURPLE
day!
Mommy got me a
purple
shirt at the craft store. Hmmm...I look
pretty good in
purple
:).
Anyway, we also picked up some
purple
socks at Target
and I was good to go! Today, I went with the spiky
purple
hair
look! This is fun!
We did a "listen to the story and follow the directions"
activity today. It was about a man name McGurple whose nose
was
purple.
I did a good job and got it all right. Maybe Daddy will scan
it on here when Miss Carol sends it home.
I took my
purple
spiky ball
(to match my hair) that Grammy got me. We ate lots of
purple
(grape)
Jell-o. It was yummy!
|
BLACK
Day!
March
9, 2006 |
Today was BLACK
day!
I wore my
black
jeans,
shirt and shoes. I topped it all of this time with my
black
Steelers
hat!
We cut
out a picture of a cat and colored it....yup, you guessed
it... black.
I took my black
Rescue Heroes jet. I signed up for special black
snack and I picked soda! It tasted yummy with our pizza
lunch. Another friend signed up for today and he brought blackberries
and Oreo cookies.
|
WHITE
Day!
March
10, 2006 |
Today was WHITE
day! I
wore my
white
shirt,
white
undies,
white
socks and my
white
shoes! I
don't have
white
pants so I
wore my grey ones! I told Miss Carol that
white
& black
together make grey...heehee!
Today we read the storybook, It Looks Like Spilled Milk.
I liked that story. We made our own "spilled milk"
pictures by putting a blob of
white
paint on black
paper and folding it in half, rubbing it, then opening it up.
We had to look at it and tell Miss Carol what we thought our
"milk" looked like. I said mine was "a frog
saying uh-oh". I don't know why he was saying
uh-oh...that is yet to be determined. HA!
I took my
white
Rescue Heroes
jet this time. Most of my
white
things are
stuffed animals and I can't take those outside. We ate our
white
snacks.
We had marshmallows and vanilla cookies and of course, milk.

Hiking
~ Geocaching ~ Picnicking
March
11, 2006 |
The weather was
nice today that we decided it would be a good time to go to this
cache we were told about in Perry County. It was a pretty good
drive there and the terrain was rated 3 stars, which is sometimes
too hard for me...but we figured we would try it. Later, we
found that we did take the wrong path in so we would not have had to
bushwhack in 500 feet over tons and tons of rocks, but I LOVED
it! Daddy held my hand so I didn't fall, but I did a great job
and it was so much fun jumping on the rocks, looking at the moss and
other things we found. We reached ground zero and when we
looked up, there was an awesome view of the town below. I ran
over right away to check it out...then it was even cooler...there
were all these huge stones set up like a chair and another kind of
like walls for a fort. Mommy and Daddy searched and searched
for the cache, but could not find it. The chances of it being
"muggled" (taken) were slim, but I guess possible.
Daddy called the owner to get a better hint and we still didn't find
it. The trip wasn't wasted, we had a great time.
After that we went to Fort
Hunter, a fort build during the threat of the French and Indian
War serving as an alarm station and supply depot. The Mansion,
Centennial Barn and Tavern House still remain on the property.
It's been turned into a nice recreational park with pavilions,
fields and playgrounds. We enjoyed our picnic lunch we packed,
toured the area and played.
I kind of ended my day on a cranky note, but overall it was a good
one. I was tired from all that hiking over the rocks!

YELLOW
Day!
March
13, 2006 |
Week 2 of our
colors review continues.....
Yellow
day was today! Mommy had gotten me a new bright yellow
shirt, so I wore that today. My hair is already kind of yellow,
so no need to add more color.
We made yellow
duck puppets today. That was a lot of fun.
I HAD to take my big
yellow
Tonka dump truck! Mommy & me spent the morning cleaning it
up...it was outside and full of dirt. My friends thought it
was awesome! We had yellow
peeps for snack and Miss Carol made yellow
milk! Ewwww!
|
BROWN
Day!
March
14, 2006 |
Today was brown
day! I have lots of
brown,
so I wore my
brown
pants, shirt,
socks and boots. I also wore my Scooby-Doo undies because he
is
brown!
Hee-Hee!
We gathered some dirt outside mixed it with water and made
mud! It was fun! Then we finger painted with it. I
made a fire house picture. Everyone did a really good job with
their
brown
mud
paintings. Miss Carol was impressed and so was Mommy when she
came over to look at them!
I took my stuffed lion. His fur and mane are
brown.
I got to use him as my nap buddy and then played with him in the home living
area...making dinner! He didn't care much for the pizza I
made. :) Our
brown
snack today
was....CHOCOLATE! Brown
day is
great! HA!
|
PINK
Day!
March
15, 2006 |
Today was pink
day! Ugh! What was Miss Carol thinking? Pink
day? Doesn't she know that we have boys in our class and PINK
is a "grils" color? Mommy thought long and
hard about this one...so, she did buy me a pink
shirt then we ironed on some cool car, truck and airplane
patches. It looks pretty cool now...but it's still PINK!
Will I wear it? Tune in later to find out.......
YEA, I wore my
pink
shirt.
Mommy woke me up this morning and right off the bat I was like,
"It's
pink
day, Mom.
Pink is
for "grils". Mommy and me had a long talk about the
color
pink.
Yes, it is mostly worn by girls, but boys can wear it too. She
showed me lots of pictures of boy shirts in the catalog that were...pink.
Then I remembered how we made my
pink
shirt look
and I was okay with it.
I was the ONLY boy in my class that wore
pink.
Miss Carol made such a big deal out of it! Everyone liked my
cool shirt. She made
pink
necklaces for
the boys that didn't have pink on.
We did a painting activity today. We mixed red and white
together to make
pink.
Then we painted whatever we wanted. I made a train.
I took a
pink
HotWheels car
and some strawberry milk mix to share with my friends. It was
yummy. We also had cupcakes with
pink
frosting!
I am glad to say that I survived
pink
day with my
"manhood" in tact BUT I am happy it is OVER!
Quote of the day:
"Only REAL men wear
PINK!"
|
ORANGE
Day!
March
16, 2006 |
|
Today was orange
day! Plus, Miss Carol's birthday! I made her a
special card. She thought it was nice. :) Anyway,
I wore my
orange
shirt.
Everyone had
orange
on today...we
all looked so nice.
We mixed
bubbles with orange
food coloring in a bowl. Miss Carol gave us a straw and a
piece of white paper. We blew the orange
bubbles
up real high over the bowl and then gently laid the paper on it to
make orange
bubble prints! I never did this before and it was a lot of
fun! I am going to have to show Mommy this trick.
I took my orange
Lamborghini
HotWheels car for sharing today. Hmm, I think I have a
HotWheels car in every color of the rainbow! Anyway, we had a
lot of orange
things for snack today. We had an orange
cake...it not only had orange
frosting, but the inside was orange
and it tasted like orange.
It was soo good. We also had orange
napkins, plates and cups for our orange
day/birthday party. We drank orange
drink,
ate orange
candy slices and had orange
cheese curls too. It was a fun orange-filled
day!
|
GREEN
Day!
March
17, 2006 |
Today was green
day!
I wore my new
green/white
striped polo shirt with my
green
Crayola
Factory shirt under it, my
green
dinosaur
underwear and my new bright
green
"swooshy"
pants to school today! I am pretty sure that I had the most
green
on of any body
in my class.
We made
green
shamrock
necklaces and drew pictures of what we thought a leprechaun looks
like.
I took my
green
monster
truck that Grammy got me a long time ago for sharing time. It
was also my day for bringing in
green
snack. I picked out
green
juice, mint (green)
chocolate chip ice cream and Mommy & me made
green
shamrock
cookies with
green
sprinkles on
them. Everyone thought they were great and I was sure to tell
them how we made them. I also counted out 10
green
straws for us to
use for our juice.
Well...our colors review weeks are over...it was A LOT of fun!

Happy
St. Patrick's Day!
March
17, 2006 |
Not only was
today green
day...it was St.
Patrick's Day!
Mommy woke me up this morning to get ready for school and we came
downstairs for breakfast. Mommy asked me to get the milk out
of the fridge. Well, when I opened it up...my milk was GREEN!
We then decided that we better walk around the house and see what
else was...weird. Someone or something had picked all the toys
up in my playroom! Then...the toilet water was GREEN!
What is going on? I ate my breakfast and Mommy said that I
could have some pudding....well, you will never guess in a million
years what color that was? GREEN!
It was yummy. Then, it was time for my cough medicine and it
was GREEN
too! Boy, those pesky Leprechaun's sure get into everything!
Had a normal morning at school...did our circle time, craft and
snack and went outside to play. It was time to go in and get
ready for Jumpin' Jitney...we walked in and our classroom was a
mess. Toys were dumped everywhere, chairs were upside down and
there were green
shamrocks all over the room! Miss Carol said that the
leprechauns must have been here and we needed to clean up the mess
and look for clues. She said that they usually leave a treat
for us letting them mess up and play in our room...since we have to
clean it up. Well, we got the mess straightened out and found
different clues that were numbered and told us where to look.
Finally, we found the "pot of
GOLD"...yummy
chocolate coins! Later, I saw Miss Holly in the hall and told
her that she better get back there before the Leprechauns mess up
her office!
HAPPY
ST. PATRICK'S DAY!
|
St.
Patrick's Day Parade
March
18, 2006 |
Harrisburg was
having their St. Patty's Day parade today, so we thought it would be
fun to see. We got there pretty early and got some good
seats. The parade was long, about 2 hours! The Holiday
parade in November was about that long too! There were a lot
of Bagpipe bands. That was a neat sounding instrument...and weird
looking too! I wanted to know why boys were wearing
dresses! Mommy said that is what they where in Ireland for special
occasions. We saw fancy cars, fire trucks, marching bands,
horses and floats. It was a fun day and I, of course, got some
candy! The only downfall was that it was cold and
windy....brrr! We brought the chairs and blankets though, so
we stayed pretty warm.
Afterwards, we went to the Hartley's house and visited with them for
awhile. It was a fun day!

Letter K
Day
March
21, 2006 |
Today was letter
K day at school. This was a tricky letter to come up with
something to bring. I wanted to bring my kite that Aunt Susan
and Uncle Allen got me, but it was too huge and we were afraid it
would get ruined. Mommy had some kiwi fruits but ...yuck, I
don't like them! I wasn't agreeing to that! So, we
thought and thought. We came up with Kettle Corn popcorn.
It was yummy and all my friends enjoyed it.
We also had Krispie treats and Kellogg's cereal to taste too.
Some other "K" words were: kittens, ketchup, and kitchen
(towels).
We cut out letter K's and turned them into kites!

Canada
Vacation!
March
22 - 27, 2006 |
We are going on
a Spring time vacation to another country! Canada! We
have friends that are getting married on Saturday and we decided to
make it a trip!
Wednesday ~ March 22nd:
Daddy had to work in the morning, so Mommy & me got things all
packed up and ready to go. We picked him up around 11:30 and
we were on the road! I was excited to go, had my box full of
toys and movies to keep me busy. It was a long drive but I
didn't mind it at all. We were driving up to see something
called, Niagara Falls. Mommy & Daddy said that it would be
cool. We made good time despite Daddy having to stop in New
York to get a speeding ticket from a police officer....grrrr and
some other words Mommy had for Daddy. It took us a little over
5 hours to reach the Rainbow Bridge. I could see the Falls and
they were awesome! I couldn't wait to see them up close but we
had to stop at the gates to enter Canada. I didn't really
understand all of this, and by now I was just ready to get out of the car.
It didn't take us very long to find our hotel and get to our room.
We had a great view of the Falls from our windows. We only had
about a half hour before it was going to get dark. We jumped
back in the car and headed down to the Falls. Daddy needed to
find an ATM that would take our card...for some reason most ATM
machines around the Falls area only take MasterCard! Weird.
Anyway, Mommy & me jumped out and ran down to the viewing area!
AWESOME...was all I kept saying. The weather was cold and
windy so there was a lot of mist but I still got the general idea of
what I was looking at. Daddy caught up with us and we took a
few pics but they aren't great because of the lack of light and
mist. We went out for dinner and up to our room to check out
the view of the Falls at night. Cool! They light them up
all different colors. We took some time to check out some
brochures and plan our next days adventures.
Thursday ~ March 23rd:
We got up early and went out for breakfast. Today we were
going to see the Falls up close. We got in the "upelator" and
went down, down, down under the Falls. We walked in tunnels
and we could see the Falls in front of us! It was neat!
There was a lot of ice too. You really can't tell in our
pictures though. Then we went out on the observation room and
that was a neat view of them too. It's hard to believe that
some crazy people went over those things and lived to tell about it!
Of course, some were not so lucky! We watched an IMAX movie
about Niagara Falls and learned a lot of interesting stuff.
The name "Niagara" comes from the Neutral Indian name "Ongniaahra"
meaning: "Thunder of Waters". They sure are loud, but they are
quieter in the winter because of the ice. We definitely will
be revisiting this place some time in the future, like when I am old
enough to go on the boat ride and in the warmer months. It was
nice having the whole place to ourselves though!
Next, we headed to Clifton Street. The hub of the tourist
attractions! The street was something like I have never seen.
Mommy said they pretty much went for a theme for their "store" and
made the outside look like it and the bigger and cheesier, the
better. I wanted to go into the Frankenstein house so bad but
Mommy said it wasn't for little kids! Bummer! I will
tell you all about the giant Frankenstein eating the hamburger on
top of the Burger King! I had to have my picture taken with
it! We did go to a few cool places. We visited The
Ripley's Believe It or Not Museum. There was some cool and odd
things in there. My favorite was the guy that would swallow
pool balls and then spit them back out! Mommy told me NEVER to
try that! Then there was a guy that was over 8 feet tall!
His shoes were almost as tall as me! Next, we went to Brick
City...which I really liked. Someone built a whole city out of
Lego's! I bet that took forever! We ended our time at
Niagara Falls with a trip to the arcade. Daddy and me played a
bunch of games. I even got to ride in a haunted ghost hunting
game with Daddy and I didn't get too scared....just a little!
It was time to check out of our hotel room and head for Toronto.
Uncle Mark was already there and waiting to see us (me)! It
didn't take us long to get there at all...just about an hour!
One nice thing about vacationing during the off season and in the
middle of the week...no traffic! I did sleep the whole trip
there. We found our hotel pretty easily, parked the car and
found our room. It was a nice big room and we were around a
corner so it was quiet too. We met up with Uncle Mark and
decided to head out for dinner. We were helped out by some
friendly Canadians that suggested a good place called, Spring Rolls.
I wouldn't eat, I was too excited...but everyone else really enjoyed
their meals. It was Asian and everyone was using chopsticks!
I thought that was funny! We had fun walking around the "city"
and it was time to get to bed for our next day of adventures!
Friday ~ March 24th:
We got up early and had our yummy (FREE...thank you AAA!)
breakfast buffet and then went and got Uncle Mark out of bed and
moving! Hee-Hee! We had a full day of touristy things to
do! We rode on the subway. That was fun. We were
headed for the CN Tower. The World's Tallest Free Standing
Building. It sure was tall. We decided to eat lunch in
the revolving 360 Restaurant. This was my first meal in a 4
Star (whatever that means) restaurant. The meals were very
expensive, good, but expensive...but with our meal it included our
tickets up to the observation deck of the tower...so, it was like
eating for only 5 bucks. I had a delicious meal of spaghetti
for 15 Canadian dollars! YUM! It was a lot of fun and
other than having to be reminded to "whisper" I did a great job.
We were there for quite a while, almost long enough for the
restaurant to spin the whole 360 degrees. I had fun looking
down at airplanes....can you believe we were higher than them?!
It takes 70 minutes to make the full circle. Next, we went to
the observation floor. Uncle Mark did a trick on me...we were
walking along...holding hands...looking at pictures on the
wall...and all of the sudden, I look down and there is nothing under
my feet! I could see all the way to the ground below!
YIKES!! Get me off of here! Someone put a crazy glass
floor in this place! That was about enough of that for me.
I stood back while Daddy and Uncle Mark jumped around like fools!
Other people were doing silly stuff too. I wasn't the only one
that stayed back though.
We then did some more walking and of course, geocaching around the
city. We needed to get back to our room to get ready to go to
the show were going to see called
THE BLUE MAN GROUP! Oh my....I was a bit nervous at first,
because the theater was a bit dark and I was nervous it was going to
be too loud. That all ended when the ushers were handing out
streamers for everyone. Mommy, Daddy and Uncle Mark all got
some....THEN this guy came up to me and just kept covering and
covering me with streamers until I was gone! I laughed and
laughed and laughed! Then the show started...now, if you have
never seen The Blue Man Group...you need too! It was great!
I laughed, yelled, cheered and laughed some more. I LOVED the
whole show, but my favorite part was when the one blue man stuck his
head in the cereal box and had cereal all over his head...then made
crunching sounds while eating it... and when they caught paintballs
in their mouths and made a picture from it....and the other caught
marshmallows in his....and when they were playing the drums with
paint on them and it splashed up everywhere...and when we had to
dance to the music...and when they took the guy from the audience
and made a jell-o mold over his head...and when it looked like their
heads were in a TV and they kept bumping the sides and the one guys
head exploded into blue paint all over the screen...and when they
had the streamers flying over everyone's heads and strobe lights
going on! It was great....great....GREAT!
Saturday ~ March 25th ~ Wedding Day!:
It was kind of a rainy morning so we decided to ride
the subway to the mall and hopefully do some souvenir shopping.
We had a nice time but it was just a normal mall...no special Canada
stuff...but there was a neat pet store that we hung out at for quite
some time. I told Mommy & Daddy that I want a pet for my
birthday! Anyway, we needed to get back to our hotel room to
get ready for Mike and Kirsten's wedding.
**After a bit of a temper tantrum/behavior issue with me...I was
having a rough time being a good listener and using nice words the
last couple days and I guess my parents had about enough.
Mommy and me had a little "chat", after a lot of yelling and crying
on my part. I was confused about this whole "vacation" thing,
I thought we moved here and was getting worried that we weren't
going back home. Mommy set me straight and after that little
outburst...I was a completely different kid...go figure!**
I was told we were going to a wedding but I really didn't
know what that meant...just that I needed to sit still and be quiet.
We rode the subway there and then we got to ride on these "trains"
that ran on rails on the road! They are called Street Cars.
I think they are great! We arrived at the hotel and met up
with Bernie and his son Drew. I was excited to see them.
It was time for the wedding to begin and Mommy brought a drawing
tablet for me and I did that during the entire ceremony...not making
a peep. The wedding was a nice, non-traditional, humanist
ceremony. Kirsten's mother was able to perform a lot of it and
that was neat.
The reception was a lot of fun too. I was happy hanging out
with Drew...we talked, laughed and drew lots of pictures. The
reception was different too....there were numerous live performers
that Kirsten and Mike have known for a long time. Kirsten
actually performs in her own singing group. I really liked
hearing all the different songs. I got to show off some of my
dancing skills too. We were out late...till 1:00 in the
morning! Mommy said that since I was being so well-behaved and
that I would never be exposed to "culture" like this anytime
soon...that we could stay. Needless to say, we went home
and straight to bed....Zzzzzz.
Sunday ~ March 26th:
Surprisingly, I was easy to wake the next morning. We
were going to ChinaTown for a Dim Sum Brunch with the wedding party.
I had eaten my breakfast already because Mommy knew that I wasn't
going to try any of that stuff. It was kind of a cool thing
though. The waiters roll carts around with different Chinese
foods on them and you tell them what you want and they put it on the
table and you eat it...with chopsticks! There was no other
silverware choice! I learned a tradition about pouring Chinese
tea...you are not allowed to fill your cup first, you have to pour
for everyone else at the table until their cup is full and then you
may serve yourself. That was kind of neat. Mommy & Daddy
ate all kinds of "weird" things but they said it was all good.
Then we jumped back on the street cars and to Mike & Kirsten's new
house. I had a fun time playing with her son, Will and the
cat. We visited for a bit and then it was time to head home.
We went out for dinner with Uncle Mark and some poker buddies he met
up with and just back to the hotel for some much needed rest.
Monday ~ March 27th:
I can't believe it is the last day of our vacation
already...bummer. I have been having such a good time walking
around the city and using the subways and street cars. And we
have really run into some interesting people....like the man running
around town, half naked in a Santa hat and shorts! We actually
had run-in's with him 2 times! "City Folk" as Pa-Pa Proper
would say.
We got up today and packed our things for check-out, put them in our
car and had a yummy breakfast. I really enjoyed the buffet and
ate really well all 4 days. I would have some French toast
with syrup (those Canadians make good syrup), 2 slices of bacon and
a chocolate chip muffin. Rinsing it all down with some yummy
chocolate milk and orange juice.
We still needed to do some souvenir shopping, so we walked down a
few blocks to another shopping plaza. This one was pretty huge
and had the moving stairs in it that I like so much. There was
even a store called: Cole's! Mommy and Uncle Mark got a
sweatshirt from the Roots store. Roots is the company that
makes the Olympic clothing. I accidentally set off the alarm
in that store....oops. The Mounties didn't come for me though.
The people working there were really nice and said it happens all
the time.
Then we took the subway to the Rainforest Cafe to meet up with
everyone for lunch before we needed to hit the road for home.
This restaurant was soo cool! There was a large moving
alligator that you could toss pennies at...Canadian or American.
A talking tree that would tell you things about the rainforest and
it's inhabitants. I liked walking under the large arched fish
aquarium. The barstools looked like the bottom half and legs
of animals. The ceiling was covered with tree branches...there
were elephants and monkeys and above our table was the night/day
time sky. Then all of the sudden, the lights would go down and
there would be a thunder storm. It scared me at first, but
then Daddy said it wasn't real. Then I thought it was neat!
Some other kids in the place...did not. We ate some yummy food
and everyone visited some more. Mike and Kirsten are getting
ready to leave for their honeymoon to Cuba. We hope they have
a nice time and can't wait to hear about their trip. Caia is
doing well and was excited to finally meet me. She couldn't
believe how "well-behaved" I was. To end our lunch, we all had
some bites of this awesome dessert called a volcano! It was a
brownie and ice cream delight but the cool part was when they
brought it out to you. The waiters yelled and
hollered...VOLCANO! It had a sparkler on it all lit up....it
was cool. Tasted pretty yummy too!
Well....we all said our good-byes and it was on the road again for
us. The weather was nice and we had a nice trip home. We
got to see the Falls again on our way back into the good old USA.
We would have liked to have stopped again to get some better pics
but we were already going to be getting home pretty late.
All in all...it was a nice relaxing trip!

Letter H
Day
March
28, 2006 |
Back to school
to see my friends. Boy, did they miss me! I was sure to
wear my CN Tower shirt that I got. It says: I thought
my Dad was tall until I saw the CN Tower! There is a picture
of the tower with a little man standing at the bottom. I was
sure to tell my friends all about my trip.
Anyway...today was H day and I had to come up with something to
bring. I took my Hungry, Hungry Hippos game. My friends
and I had a lot of fun playing that!
We made our letter H's to look like horses. They turned out
pretty neat. Other H words we talked about were: hair, horse,
Hot Wheels, horn, and hen.
