Easter Weekend
April 6 -8, 2007 |
Friday, April
6th ~ Mommy & me had the day off of school but Daddy had to work
in the morning, so it wasn't until the afternoon that we headed out
on the road for Grammy & Pap-pap's house. We got there in time
for dinner. Grammy surprised me with an Easter package and it
was the best! Lego Star Wars building sets! One with the
Storm Troopers and the other with the Clone Troopers! I think
there was something else in there but they weren't Star Wars, so I
kind of skipped past them. heehee. Oh, and did I mention
that it was snowing when we got there?!
Saturday, April 7th ~ We got up early for breakfast at
Dizzy's on this cold winter, no, I mean, spring morning!
Susie, Lauren and Larissa met us there. I ate all my yummy
French Toast and some of Daddy's! I was hungry and excited to
get over to the park for the egg hunt. They still had it even
thought there was a dusting of snow on the ground. I was one
of the bigger kids this year and there weren't very many kids
around, so I pretty much had my pick of eggs and candy. Daddy
and Mommy think it is funny because I kind of just walk around and
choose what I want. I was sure to pick up a bag of Skittles
though...Mmm...my favorite. After the egg hunt we
went to visit Aunt Kitty. She is doing good and can't get over
just how big I am. She has a doggie, Billy, and he was all
wound up because of us. I was a little nervous around him, so
Aunt Kitty put him on a leash. We went home and kind of spent
a lazy day watching TV and playing with my Lego's. Oh, we
watched Charlotte's Web (one of my non-Star Wars gifts from Grammy
and Pap). It was pretty good. My favorite part that I
had to watch over and over because it made me laugh was one of the
deleted scenes...figures! Later, we cooked and colored eggs.
Daddy tried but failed to make an "ugly" egg this year...he blames
Mommy for messing with it....but it was before and turned out to be
a pretty deep purple egg! I had fun putting stickers on them
to give them all funny faces. Soon it was time for bed....the
bunny comes tomorrow!
Sunday, April 8th ~
HAPPY EASTER!
I
slept in a little bit longer this morning but when I opened my
bedroom door there was a basket with a note from the Easter Bunny.
He had hidden 12 eggs for me to find. They were a bit trickier
to find this year but I go them all. Some even had money in
them! During my hunt I found my Easter basket sitting on the
kitchen table! It was full of stuff and certain "stuff" caught
my eye....so I quickly took a break from my egg-hunting to check it
out! I got such cool stuff....STAR WARS STUFF! I got the
2 movies that are missing from our collection (the new ones...part 1
and part 3). I got a Darth Vader (this one has a head, unlike
the one from Daddy's childhood that I have been playing with).
I also got a Lego Star Wars t-shirt! It's just like my Xbox
game! Heehee...Daddy got one too in his Easter Basket!
We look so cool in them! Anyway, I got a Lego Star Wars V-Wing
Fighter building set and then a package that was wrapped. As
soon as I ripped off the one corner....I smiled....Star Wars bed
sheets! They are sooo cool! I can't wait to put them on
my bed. (Mommy has put these on my bed and I wouldn't let
Daddy turn off the light because I wanted to look at them!). I
also got some candy thrown in there and a big chocolate bunny that I
ever so promptly bit the ears off of! YUMMY!
Uncle JG soon arrived and yes, he had a gift for me too! I
love presents! I got 2 Star Wars transformer guys! One
of Boba Fett and the other of Obi Wan Kenobi. We watched one
of my new movies and had a nice yummy dinner...I actually ate some
ham this year! We had a nice visit but soon it was time to hit
the road! Yes, it was still snowing when we left!
Thanks to everyone for all the nice gifts and we had a really nice
visit. It's just too bad that it was short and so cold
outside! Gee, last year we were outside digging up worms and
playing soccer!

Kindergarten
Registration

Today I signed
up to go to kindergarten in the Fall. Mommy, Daddy and me all
went together to drop off the paperwork. The people there were
really nice and happy to see me. They also commented to Mommy
& Daddy that giving me that "extra year" was probably the best gift
they could have ever given me. Anyway, after that short trip,
I got to pick what we did next....go to Wal-Mart so I can spend my
money that I got for Easter! I knew exactly what I
wanted....LEGO'S....Star Wars ones! They only had one there
that I wanted so I picked it up and then I found a SpongeBob one
that I liked. Then we went home and put them together.
Daddy still had to "work" so I just played with them for awhile and
then I decided to watch a movie and play my Lego Star Wars game on
the XBox! Soon it was time for dinner and I got to pick where
we would go....Friendly's of course! I LOVE their hot dogs and
Monster Mash sundaes! YUMMY! I told Mommy that she
should work there! I also decided that I was working there
when I grow up! :)
