| The
Last Few Hours: |
|
It
is important to me that I spend a part
of the next few hours here
alone with you in the darkness.
You
and I will never be this close again.
By morning you will be a tiny person all your own.
No longer the kicking, demanding bulge within -
that I have grown to love so well.
I
pray that God will safely guide you
on your journey tonight.
And I ask him for the strength
to help you all I can
Again
- you signal your impatience to be free...
Time to wake your daddy.

Only
a Baby Small:
- -
Matthias Barr |
Only a
baby small,
Dropped from the skies,
Only a laughing face,
Two sunny eyes;
Only two cherry lips,
One chubby nose;
Only two little hands,
Ten little toes.

| Monday's
Child: |
Monday's
child is fair of face,
Tuesday's child is full of grace,
Wednesday's child is full of woe,
Thursday's child has far to go,
Friday's child works hard for its living,
But the child that is born on the Sabbath day
Is bonny and blithe and good and gay.

of the most visible effects of a child's presence in the
